Christopher Marlowe Presents Child Drowning Webinar for Lousiana Association for Justice

Coral Gables, FL - May 23, 2012 - Christopher Marlowe was a guest presenter for the Louisiana Association for Justice webinar on the topic of "Handling Child Drowning Cases in Today's Legal Environment."

The presentation showed how a drowning at the beach and a drowning in a hot tub could not be more different in terms of the laws and evidence that has to be presented to the court and a jury.

It also dealt with the codes, laws and industry standards that have progressed through decades of safety advocacy and how it all works in the courtroom. Real examples from hotly contested trials illustrated how to overcome the defenses commonly used in these cases.

Christopher Marlowe joined The Haggard Law Firm in 2008 and handles a wide array of firm cases including those involving negligent security, pool drowning, auto accident, wrongful death and other personal injury cases. During previous employment at another firm, he was responsible for handling personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability and consumer class action cases.
