Orlando Negligent Security Case Settles for $1.9 Million

Coral Gables, FL (February 25, 2009) – Attorneys Michael A. Haggard and Douglas J. McCarron successfully settled a negligent security case for $1.9 million. 27-year-old Jose Medina Navarro was murdered by two gunmen that broke into his apartment in an attempted robbery in Orlando. The company in charge of the building failed to provide adequate security for its tenants providing no security, broken street lamps and a front gate that never closed.
