Partner Douglas McCarron Now Member of ABOTA

Miami, Florida - Octobre 12, 2013 - Partner Douglas McCarron has been accepted as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  Membership is by invitation only.

The general purposes of this Association is to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy to the end that individual litigants may receive more effective representation and the general public be benefited by more efficient administration of justice consistent with time-tested and traditional principles of litigation.

McCarron joined The Haggard Law Firm in 2006 and has lent his expertise by handling a wide variety of cases including negligent security, pool drowning, construction accidents, auto accidents and wrongful death cases.  Since becoming a partner in 2007, he has resolved numerous cases resulting in over $65 million in settlements and verdicts. 

Doug is admitted to the Florida Bar, the United States District Court in the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He currently serves as President of the Miami-Dade Justice Association and was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association.
