Michael A. Haggard Serves as Guest Speaker at ASIS National Security Council Convention

Coral Gables, FL (October 13, 2010) - Michael A. Haggard, partner at Coral Gables-based The Haggard Law Firm, recently spoke on the topic of negligent security at the ASIS National Security Council Convention in Dallas, Texas.  This was his third time speaking at this nationally renowned conference.

Haggard drew from his previous experience sharing details of the Sami Barrak case.  In November 2007, Mr. Haggard received a verdict of $102.7 million, the largest verdict recorded in history for a case of this genre on behalf of a single individual.    Mr. Haggard shared with security professionals how to prevent these incidents from occurring at commercial properties and ultimately deterring legal action.
