Attorney Todd Michaels Joins the Haggard Law Firm

Coral Gables, FL - (September 22, 2009) - The Haggard Law Firm is pleased to announce that Todd Michaels has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Michaels was hired to handle a wide array of firm cases including those involving negligent security, wrongful death and other personal injury incidents.
Michaels brings more than seven years of legal experience to the firm. Prior to joining The Haggard Law Firm, he was an attorney for the Federal Public Defender's Office. Upon graduation from law school, Michaels served as Assistant Public Defender in the Misdemeanor, Juvenile and Felony Divisions.
Todd Michaels has been honored as a Superlawyers Rising Star, a Florida Trend Legal Elite Up & Coming Attorney and has also been featured in Marquis' Who's Who in America.
Michaels spends his personal time as a role model and mentor for at-risk youth through the 5000 Role Models program. He also educates police recruits attending the Academy about the importance of honesty and thoroughness in all aspects of a case and talks to inner city children about the legal profession. Most recently, Michaels became involved with the Carma Foundation, which aims to measurably improve the health of poor and vulnerable women and children in Haiti.
Michaels received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami in 2002.
