Coral Gables Attorney Michael A. Haggard Serves as Expert Guest Speaker at Dade County Bar Association Seminar

Coral Gables, Florida (May 8, 2009) – Michael Andrew Haggard, partner at Coral Gables based Haggard Law Firm, recently served as guest speaker at a Dade County Bar Association "Super Trial Lawyers" program and spoke on the topic of "Plaintiff's Opening Statement."

An all day mock trial was set up by the Dade County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section in order for young trial lawyers to learn advanced trial techniques from some of Florida's finest lawyers. Haggard executed the plaintiff's opening statement at the mock trial.

Haggard concentrates his trial practice in personal injury litigation specializing in pool drowning accident negligence, premises liability, negligent security, wrongful death and medical malpractice. Haggard's other achievements include serving as past president of the Miami-Dade Justice Association as well as serving as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He will be sworn in as the 50th President of the Florida Justice Association in June 2009. Haggard earned his bachelors degree from Florida State University and his law degree from the University of Miami.
